Spring Clean

On a warm dry spring day, there’s no better time to blow out the cobwebs!

As the chill of winter makes way for the vibrant freshness of spring, it's the perfect time to embark on a thorough cleaning spree to rejuvenate your living space. Spring cleaning not only helps to revitalise your home but also clears out clutter, promotes better hygiene, and creates a sense of calm and renewal. Here are some essential things to include in your spring cleaning checklist:

Declutter and Organise: Start by decluttering each room, sorting items into donate, keep, or discard piles. Organise your belongings and find proper storage solutions to maintain a clutter-free environment.

Dust and Polish Surfaces: Dust and polish furniture, shelves, and hard surfaces that you don’t usually get to reach, including window frames, skirting boards and light fixtures.

Refresh Bedding and Upholstery: Launder or dry clean your duvet, including pillows, cushions and throws. Vacuum and freshen up upholstery, chairs, sofas, curtains and fabric headboards using fabric-friendly cleaners or by steam cleaning.

Scrub Bathrooms and Kitchens: Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures, including visible pipework and behind the toilet. Deep clean the kitchen by scrubbing countertops, appliances, and inside cabinets and drawers. Don't overlook the often-neglected areas such as in and under the fridge.

After a spring clean your home will be ready to embrace the fresh new season.
