Music: ionnalee - Blund/Close Your Eyes

from 13th September

Jonna Emily Lee is a Swedish singer, songwriter, record producer and visual director releasing solo work under the name ‘ionnalee’. Lee is the creator and artist of audiovisual online project ‘iamamiwhoami’.

With her signature synth-pop sound and etherial voice this new album is “about how to dream in a dark time…how to get to a state of hopefulness, euphoria, sorrow in a time where the world seems less and less connected to other humans, to nature and to our future” says Lee.

The lead single is ‘Innocence of Sound’ and showcases the sophisticated and artistic dancefloor track which Ionnalee is famous for. Big beats, climatic choruses, ethereal vocals, diving synths and a 2 am afterglow of emotional outpouring. It comes with a typically beautiful music video with Ionnalee in a frozen landscape by the sea, embracing nature and movement.
