General Terms & Conditions:

  1. Advertising is available to customers at the rates specified by Limelight Magazine Ltd. These rates are available from Limelight Magazine Ltd. and are subject to change without notice.

  2. Confirmation of advertisement booking is subject to receipt of full payment prior to print deadlines.

  3. This fee is non-refundable in the event that the order is cancelled less than four weeks before print deadline.

  4. Advertising is distributed to all addresses in the selected areas unless the occupant(s) at the address inform(s) us that unaddressed direct mail should not be delivered to that address by displaying a declaration to that effect on/near their letterbox.

  5. Limelight Magazine Ltd. retains the right to restrict or discontinue the magazine at its absolute discretion, where possible subject to the return of any monies or proportion of monies paid due to such restriction or cancellation.

  6. Limelight Magazine Ltd. does not provide a guaranteed delivery to every household. The service ensures delivery of the total number of magazines specified for each area. Area distribution numbers are reviewed once per year and in most cases are rounded to the nearest 100. Therefore stated areas may be marginally smaller or larger than the actual number of households.

  7. Force majeure. Limelight Magazine Ltd. shall have no liability to the Customer if it is prevented from or delayed in performing the service or from carrying on its business by acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond its reasonable control, including strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes, failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm, snow or any adverse weather conditions or default of suppliers or sub-contractors.

  8. The Customer warrants that any advert or publicity material and its use by Limelight Magazine Ltd. for the purpose of providing the service will not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party and the Customer shall indemnify Limelight Magazine Ltd. against any and all loss, damages, costs, expenses or other claims arising from any such infringement.

  9. Limelight Magazine Ltd. reserves the right to review all material to be published and to refuse print of any material at its absolute discretion.

  10. Advertisers must ensure that all marketing communications: should be legal, decent, honest and truthfulshould be prepared with a sense of responsibility to consumers and societyshould respect the principles of fair competition generally accepted in business; their marketing communications do not mislead or cause general offence. The same principles apply to sales promotions including special offers involving vouchers, coupons or samples, reduced price or free offers, prize promotions and competitions. Advertisers agree to adhere to 'The Code' as outlined by The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations . This Code is applied in spirit as well as in the letter. The advertiser agrees to indemnify Limelight Magazine Ltd. against any loss, material or otherwise, sustained by the publication of advertiser content. Limelight MagazineLtd. accepts no liability for loss, material or otherwise, pertaining to publication of any advertisement.

  11. Limelight Magazine Ltd. makes every effort to ensure the correct attribution of any assets used. In the case of incorrect or missing attribution we would encourage the Copyright Holder of said asset to contact the Company directly for correction or removal. The Company will only deal with Copyright Holders directly and will not engage with any third parties or intermediaries, unless provided with evidence of the prior explicit consent of the Copyright Holder. For the purposes of use relating to research and private study, criticism or review, or news reporting the Company may from time to time use assets subject to ‘fair dealing’ under the 'Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988'.

  12. Limelight Magazine Ltd. shall not be liable, whether in tort (including for negligence or breach of statutory duty), contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of business depletion of goodwill and/or similar losses, or loss of contract, or, any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses.

  13. Limelight Magazine Ltd's total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the service shall be limited to the price paid for the services.

  14. Any claims relating to poor service, or other errors must be received within 20 days of the distribution date.

  15. It is the responsibility of competition entrants to make sure that they are within the service area of the prize offered. No transport or accommodation is offered or provided in conjunction with any prize unless specifically stated. No cash alternative prize is offered or available.

  16. These Terms and Conditions, and the respective rights and obligations of the parties hereto, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the England & Wales.

  17. By viewing and use of this website or availing of this advertising service with Limelight Magazine Ltd. you hereby agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
